Biographical Information
Born in Birmingham, Alabama, David Ray Carter has been writing about film since 1998. He is the main film reviewer for Film Fanaddict Magazine and FilmFanaddict.com as well as a contributing editor for NotComing.com. The majority of David's work has been on the topics of horror, exploitation, and "fringe" cinemas. His non-cinematic interests include conspiracy theories, true crime, professional wrestling, and opera. He has lectured on these and other topics at Oxford University and at various conferences, universities, and film festivals in the United States and the United Kingdom. In 2011, David relocated to Dallas, Texas with his wife and dog.
